Autobiography from the CEO:

My name is Julia Cherk. I was originally born in Hong Kong and grew up in Vancouver, Canada and studied at the University of Alberta, pursuing a degree in psychology. I’ve always loved fashion growing up, I would read magazines and imagine what I would look like dressed as the celebrities I’d see on TV and wish that I could look like them. I didn’t have the resources to dress like that at the time, but it was a version of me that I created in my head that I would draw, think about and visualize in my head, and wished for it to come true someday. I often tried to follow the current fashion trends that was at my school, in order to fit in, not quite sure of who I really was. After a lot of experimentation, I finally decided who I was meant to be and stuck with it. I was so inspired by this version of myself and everything else just naturally fell into place. Everyone asked me how I did it, and hot girls don’t gatekeep so here we are.
